The Divine Being, Amenogozen ( (しん) (じん) (あめの) () (ぜん), Shinjin Amenogozen?, lit. "Divine Person: In the Presence of the Rain") is a "incarnated singularity" ( (とく) () () (てん) (せい) (めい) (たい), Tokui-ten Seimeitai?, lit. "Singularity Lifeform") that was born from the merge of Ōchi Fukuchi, Shintō Amenogozen, and the Holy Sword Soluz Levni, created by Fyodor Dostoevsky.[2]

Apperance[]

Soluz Levni inside Ame-no-Gozen's body (manga)

The Holy Sword Soluz Levni inside Ame-no-Gozen's body.

Ame-no-Gozen resembles Fukuchi at the time of his death, with the difference that it has wood horns instead of ears, it has no mustache and diamond-shaped plates instead of foots levitation under the legs (presumably black), connected to black spheres. Inside its body, either in the place of its vertebral column or inside its toracic cage (probably because it has no organs), Ame-no-gozen has the handle of Soluz Levni, Fyodor Dostoevsky having the mark in the palm of his right hand. Its left hand and right forearm also appear to be covered in black marks.

It wears a sheet of white pentagonal paper decorated with a black symbol hiding his face, fabric ribbons around his wrists and elbows, as well as a white kimono upper garment that he only wears on his right arm (or whatever seems to be the left half) where there are three black buttons with a white center, with a piece of metal underneath. His legs also appear to be wearing pieces of plain white armor, connected by a spherical middle at the knees. Ame-no-Gozen also has two thin, transparent white ribbons, decorated with gold rings, directly connected to its shoulder blades. It also has a purple belt at the waist with a style similar to that of a shimenawa, and a darker fabric underneath. And under all these clothes, Ame-no-Gozen seems to have a kind of gold-colored coat under its kimono.

Following the merger, an explosion occurred, creating a crater with kanji all around it. In the crater, there are several rows of torii arranged in a funnel, with in the center of this construction, a ring of dark liquid from which what appear to be flames rise upwards in portions.[3]

Personality[]

Ame-no-Gozen does not appear to have any pronounced personality traits, displaying a neutral and sad expression, although it appears to obey its creator, Fyodor, It did not hesitate to kill Teruko Ōkura, although she was its teammate in a past life, smiling even of this act.[3]

It was seen that Ame-no-Gozen has a personality inspired by the god of the tenrikyō religion, standing with the tenrikyō symbol behind him. Although it seems to have no human emotions, it showed motherly concern for Doppo Kunikida and his ideals before it killed him — However, we don't know if Ame-no-gozen was really concerned or if it was just a fake show of a emotion.[4]

Skills[]

  • Superhuman Speed: Ame-no-Gozen was able to defeat the vice-captain of the Hunting Dogs in a single strike, all by piercing her skull before she understood what was happening to herself.[3]
  • Swordsmanship Skills: Ame-no-Gozen appears to be as skilled with a sword as in a past life, although it is unknown if Fukuchi's memories have carried over to that new body.
  • Levitation: Ame-no-Gozen always shown levitating above the ground, such as during its fight against Atsushi Nakajima and Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, he was in the sky, but It's unknown if it's able to flight.[5] After creation, it also appears to descend from the skies.
Teruko absorbed by Ame-no-Gozen (manga)

Ame-no-Gozen liquefies Teruko's body.

  • Shintō Amenogozen: Using the space–time sword, Ame-no-Gozen is capable of:
    • Liquefaction: When it stabbed Teruko Ōkura with his katana in the skull that left her clothes behind and her physical body liquified, the liquid subsequently turned into numerous floating spheres, implying that it was perhaps either her soul or physical body.
      • Absorption: After the spheres materialized from Teruko's liquefied body, Ame-no-Gozen was able to suck them up and presumably absorb them or store them inside.[3][4][6]
    • Energy Blast: During its fight against Atsushi Nakajima and Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, Ame-no-Gozen seemed to be able to emit a very powerful energy beam of the same color as its blade, although it was able to be absorbed by Akutagawa's shield, narrowly saving Atsushi, who seemed worried about the possibility of being hit by this attack. Furthermore, as the young mobsters and the detective launched towards it, their collision caused a gigantic explosion of energy, which seems much greater than that produced during the creation of the incarnated singularity.[5]
  • Blade Generation: Ame-no-Gozen has shown being able to create blades under his mask. The said blades are similar to that of a katana without tsuka (handle) or tsuba (guard), and can reach up to measuring more than a kilometer long. He has shown to be able to generate up to three of them and appears to be able to separate them from his body and generate them from his blow, although this is not yet clear.
    • Rotative Slashes: Ame-no-Gozen can spin his ginormous blades like propeller fins, causing countless damage. Its blades were able to cut through buildings near the airport as if it were nothing, proving their resistance.[1]
  • Spatial Manipulation: Fyodor Dostoevsky stated that Ame-no-Gozen capable manipulate space.
    • Portal Creation: Ame-no-Gozen create portal behind Fyodor when he tell to Atsushi about Ame-no-Gozen.
  • Higher-Dimensional Existence: Fyodor Dostoevsky stated that Ame-no-Gozen is four dimensional being. Fyodor said that Ame-no-Gozen's third dimensional projection "is merely shadow".Dostoevsky implies that there no way for third dimensional being to defeat Ame-no-Gozen.
    • Minkowski Space: Ame-no-Gozen's body exists in Minkowski space in which the fourth dimension is time.
  • Self-Healing: After Ryūnosuke Akutagawa slashed Ame-no-Gozen's hand with his Rashōmon Ame-no-Gozen restore it.

Equipment[]

  • Shintō Amenogozen: Having been created from its fusion with Fukuchi and Soluz Slevni, and although it bears the name, Ame-no-Gozen can summon the katana in question from a pocket space to pierce the skull of its enemy.[3]
  • Holy Sword Soluz Levni: Having been created from its fusion with Fukuchi and Amenogozen, Ame-no-Gozen has the sword handle inside its body.[3]
