Chapter 14 is the fourteenth chapter of the Bungo Stray Dogs (Vertical Comic).

Summary

Tanizaki strangles Higuchi.

Tanizaki appears behind Higuchi, grabbing her neck and trying to strangler her out when he is impaled by Akutagawa's ability from behind.

Atsushi meets Akutagawa. As Akutagawa talk about death, Atsushi remembers what Kunikida have told him about Akutagawa - to never run into Akutagawa. Atsushi flinches back to reality as Akutagawa introduces himself, adding he is a humble dog of the Port Mafia just like the girl who attacked them. Higuchi quickly recovers, telling Akutagawa she can handle the situation herself when Akutagawa slaps her across the face, causing her sunglasses to fall to the floor from the hit.

Akutagawa activates his ability.

Akutagawa insults her, calling her a useless cur as she could've killed the man-tiger when they were instructed to take him alive. As a result, Higuchi apologizes. Atsushi asks about the order to capture the man-tiger alive and asks the identity of the two.

Akutagawa calls Atsushi the man-tiger, saying it's his fault that his companions are injured, saying he brings harms to those around him. Atsushi gets a flashback from his orphanage, dropping a cold sweat in fear. Akutagawa activates his ability Rashomon, attacking right beside Atsushi, creating an elongated crater beside him. Akutagawa tells Atsushi about his ablity and he will have Rashomon consume his leg if he resists, Atsushi collapses in fear, mumbling rhetorical questions to himself.
