Chapter 16 is the sixteenth chapter of the Bungo Stray Dogs (Vertical Comic).

Summary

The tiger charges at Akutagawa.

Suddenly, Atsushi transforms into a tiger, Akutagawa seemingly pleased at the competition. Atsushi, now in the form of a large white tiger, launches at Akutagawa. As the tiger approaches, he uses Rashōmon which bites into the tiger's stomach, injuring it. The tiger immediately regenerates, much to Akutagawa's facination. Higuchi yells to Akutagawa but Akutagawa tells her to get back as it is nothing that she can handle.

Akutagawa activates Rashōmon: Murakumo.

Quickly, the tiger lunges to Akutagawa, nearby cutting him when Akutagawa uses a spiderweb-like defense, the tiger easily slammed against it, sending Akutagawa flying into a wall, coughing from the impact. Higuchi swears at the tiger, takes a gun and shoots at him, however the bullets are not piercing through the tiger's body. The tiger glances at Higuchi, Akutagawa uses Rashōmon: Agito slicing the tiger in half right before the tiger is about to attack Higuchi who was backed up against a wall. Blood splatters onto Higuchi, Akutagawa clicks his tongue, saying they needed him alive.

Suddenly, the tiger's body disappears as Tanizaki activated his ability, revealing it was a mirage. The tiger appears behind Akutagawa. Akutagawa turns back and activates Rashōmon: Murakumo.
