Chapter 7 is the seventh chapter of the Bungo Stray Dogs (Vertical Comic).

Summary

The bomber demands to see the agency's boss.

A bomber can be seen with a hostage. He then expresses his anger to the Armed Detective Agency and demands to see their boss, otherwise he wil blow himself up together with the rest of the agency.

Dazai, Kunikida, and Atsushi are seen hiding in plain sight trying to hide from the bomber. Kunikida states that the bomber has some complaint against the agency, demanding to see their boss. Dazai notices the bomb and notices that they are high explosives enough to destroy the room. He then tells that they could cover the bomb with something to dampen the explosion but unfortunately not in their current situation. Kunikida ponders on what they should do.

Kunikida tries to calm down the bomber.

Dazai suggests to just let the bomber see their boss to which Kunikida strongly refuses telling that the bomber will try to take the boss's life and adds that he is out of town. Dazai ponders for a while stating that they should do something about the hostage.

Dazai and Kunikida proceed to play rock, paper, and scissors which results to Kunikida's lost. As a consequence, Kunikida is the one who approaches the bomber and tries to calm him down. However, the bomber knows his identity and knows that he has an ability. The bomber warns Kunikida not to do anything or else he'll blow up the place.

Atsushi approaches the bomber.

From afar, Dazai states that his apperance would cause suspicion as the bomber knows the agency members faces and names. Dazai then turns to Atsushi and gives him a grin.

Atsushi nervously approaches the bomber and tries to stop him. It turns out that Dazai gave him an instruction to try to distract the bomber and they shall handle the rest. As a result, Atsushi tries to distract the bomber by telling things about himself, eventually telling the bomber to drop the bomb and offers him to look for a work together.
