Dazai deactivating the shards.
Fyodor is seen opening a door, which reveals to be a room full of gems and stating that all is according to plan to which Dazai agrees. Dazai asks Fyodor the reason he agreed on cooperating with him and Fyodor responds that he just simply desires the world as it should be and proceeds to take two gems out from the door he opened a while ago. Dazai reveals that he is reluctant to side with Fyodor but was necessary to make Shibusawa dance. Fyodor tells Dazai that Shibusawa was planning on casting the fog even without him. He then shows Dazai two gems - a crystal that has the power to absorb all abilities in an area and a crystal that combines all abilities into one ability.

Shibusawa stabs Dazai.
He orders Dazai to nullify the crystal and release them. Dazai then proceeds to nullify both crystals and releases them into the air - absorbing all the abilities in the room resulting to the energy source being dispelled and the fog will no longer be sustained. After all abilities were absorbed, Dazai tells that once he touch the absorbed abilities, everything will be over. Just then, Shibusawa stabs him from the back.
