Draconia (ドラコニア, Dorakonia?) is the ability of Tatsuhiko Shibusawa.[1]

Draconia's collection of abilities crystallized into gems.
Draconia seems to be a multi-formed ability with multiple variations. At its core, Shibusawa can create a mysterious mist, dubbed the "Dragon's Breath" (龍の吐息, Ryū no Toiki?), capable of separating abilities from their users. These abilities, which are capable of communication, manifest in either their own unique form or as a mimicked appearance of its user. The separated abilities then attempt to kill their user; if the ability succeeds, it crystallizes into a gem, appearing in Draconia's collection room, an ornate dome structured with pillars, stained glass, and countless shelves.
Embedded in the abilities are red gems, which turn out to be their major weakness. If their powerless user can destroy the gem and accept the ability as theirs, they regain it. However, rejecting the ability will leave it dormant inside the user. In rare cases, such as Fyodor Dostoevsky's situation, his ability did not turn against him nor did it leave him despite being immersed in Shibusawa's fog all along. Moreover, Shibusawa failed to acquire Osamu Dazai's ability, as it nullified Draconia upon being crystallized initially.

Draconia has a peculiar effect on Shibusawa after his death, somehow manifesting as him sans memory and is capable of what appears to be revival so long as his collection can maintain his existence. However, after Fyodor Dostoevsky killed Shibusawa for a second time, he used a fragment of the ability-gathering gem and embedded it in Shibusawa's separate skull, which reunited Shibusawa with his true body and form, memory intact. In this form, Shibusawa emerges as a dragon hybrid, much like Atsushi Nakajima's tiger-hybrid form. He was physically powerful and agile, making him a formidable foe even against the trio of Atsushi, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, and Kyōka Izumi. Fyodor claims that the combined chaos of all the abilities' true form is that of a dragon, hence why Shibusawa takes on this draconic appearance. This prospect also applies to how Draconia's collection of gems emerged as a dragon as a result of singularities apparently caused by Fyodor.[1]
Derivation[]
Draconia is mainly referenced on the real-life Tatsuhiko Shibusawa's umbrella term for his works and style, dubbed as "Draconia" (ドラコニア, Dorakonia?). This term is later utilized in many of his works and in posthumous tributes, some of which include The Museum of Draconia (夢の博物館, Yume no Hakubutsukan?, literally "The Museum of Dreams"), first published in a special issue of the art magazine Mizue in 1987 that features his works entitled "Imaginarium" and "End-of-the-Century Gallery", as well as some of his writings and some texts from Shibusawa's literary artist and author peers.[2] Draconia World (ドラコニア・ワールド, Dorakonia Wārudo?) is a collection of Shibusawa's essays and photographs by Hajime Sawatari, generally hinged on the works of Marquis de Sade and eroticism.[3] The Draconian Horizon (ドラコニアの地平, Dorakonia no Chihei?) is the official catalog of The Domain of Draconia, a large retrospective exhibition held at the Setagaya Literary Museum on Shibusawa's 30th death anniversary, which displayed drafts, original memos, works of art, and other items related to Shibusawa.[4][5]
