Introduction |
He was the unnamed restaurant owner of Freedom Restaurant.
Appearance[]
He had a balding hair and a protruding stomach. He always wore a yellow apron over his plain white shirt.
Personality[]
Nothing is known much about his personality except he smiles so much and seems to have a cheerful demeanor. He is also very kind to Oda and the orphans.
History[]
Dark Era Arc[]
He first appears when Oda visited the restaurant to eat curry. Noticing how Oda looks glum, he asks what's wrong, or if he's constipated, to which Oda responds that he's just thinking and if he's ever constipated, he'd avoid eating spicy foods. The restaurant owner then tells Oda not to push himself too hard. After Oda finishes eating, he suggests that he visit and say hello to the orphans on the second floor of the establishment.
After Oda's time with the orphans, he serves Dazai the same spicy curry that arrived later on. He then receives a pocket money for the kids from Oda and worries for Oda since all of his earnings end up there. Oda responds that letting them stay in their place and for the curry is more than enough. He then leaves Dazai and Oda for them to have privacy regarding Mimic.
Later on, Oda found him dead, lying behind the counter on a pot and the shelf for cooking utensils. He'd been shot three times in the chest, his eyes were still open, and his hand gripped the curry ladle. The restaurant owner's eyes are closed by Oda.[1]
