Marshland / Afternoon / Cloudy ④ (湿地帯／昼過ぎ／曇天 ④, Shitchi-tai / Hirusugi / Donten ④?) is the fourth part of the 3rd chapter of the Bungo Stray Dogs Gaiden manga.
Summary[]
Following an ambush attack on them, Ayatsuji deduces how the armed assailants must have made their way in. He also surmises that the pursuers are affected by Kyōgoku's ability indirectly, since he merely allows a demon to be cast on someone and alter their spirit. In other words, the ability has no capability to command an organized attack, though Ayatsuji acknowledges Kyōgoku's devilish scheming mind.

Ayatsuji proposes an escape plan with Tsujimura and Asukai.
Ayatsuji then instructs Asukai to shoot out as their signal to leap out the building. He also asks Tsujimura not to have second thoughts in killing their enemies if ever she feels threatened. Tsujimura reluctantly accepts, musing how she has never killed anyone in actual combat. She reassures herself as someone who received top marks during her training days, but she remains conflicted with actually killing someone in reality. Ayatsuji asks her to recall her favorite catchphrase, which soon enlivens her.
Tsujimura and Asukai head out and launch a counterattack. Amidst a smokescreen, Tsujimura lands a surprise attack on nearby assailants and immediately demands them to state their purpose and affiliation.
