Kubo

Introduction

Kubo (久保,, Kubo^?) or also known as the Engineer (技師 (エンジニア),, Enjinia^?) is one of Kyōgoku's subordinates.

Appearance[]

One of his prominent feature is having the first part of his ring finger missing as stated by an eyewitness during the murders in the Reigo Island. When his identity was shown, he is seen carrying a golf bag with him.

Personality[]

As described by Ayatsuji, he is a very careful and cunning man.

Background[]

He is the main suspect and the ringleader who incited all the islanders to commit murders at the Reigo Island.

He is modeled after Shunkō Kubo, a gothic fiction writer and mysterious gloved man in Natsuhiko Kyogoku's novel, Mōryō no Hako.
