Sakashita (坂下 (さかした),, Sakashita^?) is the deputy director of Ministry of Justice.

Appearance

Sakashita is an old man with a round-shape build and wears a suit. He also has prominent moles on his face. He also wears a watch on his left arm. A ring can be also seen on his left ring finger.

Personality

Upon meeting Ayatsuji, Sakashita appears to be a modest man even complimenting him and describing how he admired him. But when confronted and his true intentions were revealed, he becomes easily irritated, panics and tries to deny it and defends himself. He is also seen of being capable of using other people just to kill his rivals - just to achieve what he want.

History

Sakashita panics as Ayatsuji reveals his secrets.

Sakashita greeted Ayatsuji and told him that he liked to have a chat with him about the cases he solved. Ayatsuji greeted him back and asked him if he read the report of the recent incident regarding the death of the anti-terrorism forces. Sakashita responded that he just read the summary of it and offered Ayatsuji to have a chat along with a cup of tea. Just before the two leaves, Tsujimura stopped them and tells Sakashita that she is the one responsible for it and Ayatsuji has no relation nor the Special Division for Unusual Powers to the incident. However, Sakashita told her that she's not the one to decide who's responsible. Sakashita further claimed that the incident happen due to Special Division - describing it as an evil organization who puts forward their agenda for the sake of monopolizing their status. Tsujimura refuted this and told him that the Special Division is necessary. However, Sakashita didn't listen to Tsujimura's final words and left.

Just then, Ayatsuji called out to him and managed to reveal that Sakashita saying that he only read the summary report was a lie, and further told him that the guy is still alive and caused trouble for them. Ayatsuji then indicated that Sakashita is being manipulated to take down the Special Division. However, Sakashita denied this. But Ayatsuji insisted telling that he must have been restrained before and is a puppet of Kyōgoku. Just then, Ayatsuji reveals that there is a person in the Special Division who can extract memories. Hearing this, and indicating that all the lies Sakashita told will be revealed. Sakashita defends himself that the crimes are justified but Ayatsuji asks him otherwise on how can he justify himself. Not being able to answer and irritated by Ayatsuji's revelation, Sakashita storms off and left.

Sakashita then boards the elevator but a sudden power shortage occured. Mizuki grabbed himm before the door closes to appeal not to get fired after the revelation. However, just then, the elevator fell - revealing Sakashita's body cut in half.
