From the manga series "Bungo Stray Dogs" serialized in the monthly magazine "Young Ace", we have received a comment from Kafka Asagiri (scenario writer/author of the original story of "Bungo Stray Dogs"), who saw the film, and a newly drawn illustration of the beautiful Dazai by 35 Harukawa (manga artist "Bungo Stray Dogs").
Asagiri said of Dazai (Oguri) in this film, "It's amazing. Just amazing. There really is a Dazai. Asagiri praised him! He continued, "Dazai is sitting in Lupin (Ginza), talking with a glass in his hand. The visible expression of Dazai, the invisible spirit of Dazai. Everything is here. This is Dazai. I can't take my eyes off him forever he added.
In addition, a newly drawn illustration by Harukawa35, who is in charge of drawing for "Bungo Stray Dogs", has arrived. The illustration depicts Dazai sitting alone at a bar counter smoking a cigarette, inspired by the movie. Like Oguri, who played the role, Dazai in the illustration holds a cigarette in his left hand, and every detail has been expressed with Harukawa's delicate touch. The profile of Dazai (Oguri) staring at his cigarette and the slim body that looks great in a black suit vest are so beautiful that you can't help but sigh.[1]
