Vampires (
Description[]
People who turn vampires and are under someone's command have black sclerae, fangs, and distinct vein-like markings beneath their eyes similar to Bram's. Vampires can infect other people and turn them into vampires in just a single bite whether bitten alive or dead. They are also shown to have immense speed.[4]
Some infected vampires are capable of masking their vampiric appearance in order to trick others and eventually turn them into vampires.[5] In other words, they can act as a single life form.[1] It is unknown whether or not they can be reverted back to their original selves.
Background[]
It was known that vampires exist before as Fukuchi once neutralized Europe's vampire threat.[6] Several weeks after Bram's slumber at least eight years after his defeat against Fukuchi, Bram infects Ryūnosuke Akutagawa as ordered by Fukuchi per the Decay of the Angel's scheme. Subsequently, this triggered a vampire outbreak throughout Yokohama and later to other parts of the world, including the Republic of Nares.[4][5][1]
